horrid to look upon

Your complexion does not end at your chin, you know. You may think it does as you face yourself in your mirror…But other people see you full length, and see you from all sides. And you look very odd, if your make-up ends abruptly at your chin and jaw line. Especially if you have used a tinted foundation preparation to give your face a different colour tone, a side view which shows just where that tint ends, and your drab or whitish neck begins, is ugly and horrid to look upon.
